Second Nature works with councils and communities, so this website needs to work for everyone. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
Pages use clear headings and plain language, and work with screen readers and keyboard navigation.
Text and background colours are chosen to meet contrast requirements, and text can be enlarged without loss of content.
Images and logos have text alternatives. The scrolling logo banner pauses when you hover over it, and stays still if your device is set to reduce motion.
The explainer animation has no sound; everything it says appears as on-screen text.
The site adapts to phones and tablets.
The explainer animation is visual. If you’d like its content in another format, contact us and we’ll send it.
The downloadable capability statement may not be fully accessible to all screen readers. We’ll provide an accessible version on request.
Card payments and enquiry forms use third-party services (Stripe and Web3Forms), whose accessibility is managed by those providers.
